This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you purchase tickets or interact with our World Congress website.

When you purchase a ticket (Full Pass or Day Pass) or use our website, we collect the following types of data:

  • Booking Details: Ticket type, dietary preferences (if provided), and workshop interests (RSVP).

  • Accommodation Data: For Full Pass holders, we collect room preferences and the names of specific individuals you wish to share a room with.

  • Payment Information: Payment details are processed securely by our third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Order Processing: To process your booking, confirm your payment, and deliver your Congress badge/ticket.

  • Event Logistics: To organize rooming lists for our hotels and manage workshop capacities.

  • Communication: To send you booking confirmations, important updates about the Congress schedule (in Kranjska Gora), and practical travel information.

  • Legal Compliance: To comply with tax and accounting laws.

4. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your data. However, we must share specific information with trusted third parties to facilitate the event:

  • Hotels: We share your name and room preferences with the venues to secure your accommodation (Full Pass holders).

  • Payment Processors: To facilitate secure transactions.

  • Service Providers: IT and system administration services that help us run this website.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Terms and Conditions


1. General

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets (Full Pass and Day Pass) for the 71st Movendi International World Congress, taking place in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, from October 2–7, 2026. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.

2. Products and Services

We offer two primary ticket types:

  • Full Pass: Includes access to all 5 days of the event, full board meals, and accommodation at Hotel Kompas.

  • Day Pass: Includes access for one specific day and lunch/coffee breaks. Does not include accommodation or dinner.

3. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your pass. All prices are listed in Euros (€). We reserve the right to cancel any booking that has not been fully paid.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Since we must secure venue and accommodation bookings in advance, the following strict cancellation policies apply:

A. Full Pass Cancellations:

  • More than 6 months prior (Before April 2, 2026): 90% refund (10% administration fee).

  • 3 to 6 months prior (April 3 – July 2, 2026): 50% refund.

  • Less than 3 months prior (After July 2, 2026): Non-refundable.

B. Day Pass Cancellations:

  • More than 30 days prior: 50% refund.

  • Less than 30 days prior: Non-refundable.

C. Transfer of Tickets:
Tickets may be transferred to another delegate up to 30 days before the event for a Full Pass, and up to 7 days before for a Day Pass. Please contact us to arrange a name change.

5. Accommodation (Full Pass Only)

  • Room Assignment: While we try to honor sharing requests (“Share with specific person”), final room allocation for Double and Triple rooms is managed by the organizers.

  • Shared Rooms: If you book a shared room without a named partner, you will be assigned a room with another delegate of the same gender. Movendi International accepts no liability for personal disputes between roommates.

6. Code of Conduct

The World Congress is a safe space rooted in democracy, inclusion, and respect. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any delegate who behaves in a manner that harasses, threatens, or disrupts the safety and enjoyment of others. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

7. Program Changes

Movendi International reserves the right to make alterations to the Congress program, speakers, and schedule at any time. In the unlikely event that the Congress is cancelled entirely due to Force Majeure (e.g., natural disaster, pandemic restrictions), our liability is limited to the refund of the ticket price paid.

8. Liability

Movendi International is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during the event or at Hotel Kompas. Delegates are strongly advised to purchase their own travel insurance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden [Or Slovenia, depending on legal entity]. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
